Kodak Black's No Show Prompts Disturbance At House Of Blues
Police said they saw him punch a member of the House of Blues staff while waiting for a Kodak Black show. The show was canceled.

BOSTON — After rapper Kodak Black didn't show up for two shows at the House of Blues Wednesday night, fans got into a brawl, causing injuries and prompting at least one arrest, police said. Unbeknownst to the hundreds who waited hours for the musician, Black was arrested at the Canadian border and charged with drug and weapon possession, according to TMZ.
Kodak Black was slated to perform at 5 p.m. and then again at 9:30 p.m. but after he didn't show for the first show, fans grew restless.
Police were first called to the venue on Lansdowne Street for a report of a sexual assault just after 8 p.m. and found a group of about 200 people waiting outside, with some 800 more inside.

"The crowd both outside and inside the venue grew unruly upon learning that the headline performer of the show would not be appearing," police said in a statement.
Officers called for backup to help with crowd control and dispersal. Somewhere in there, police said they saw a man, later identified as Samuel Simmons, 20, of Newton trying to get back into the House of Blues through an emergency exit door. Police said they saw him push and then punch members of the security staff, and then arrested him on charges of assault and battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing.

Police issued a license violation to the House of Blues for both the sexual assault and the altercation involving the patron and staff member.
Police said the woman who reported the sexual assault was evaluated by EMTs, police said the report is deemed classified and officers are investigating.
