Newton Rec Seeks Volunteers for Charlie Brown T-Ball
T-ball will be held Saturdays, April 30 through June 11.

From the Town of Newton:
The Charlie Brown T-Ball is a fun, non-competitive program hosted by Newton Recreation. It is a basic introduction for boys and girls in the fundamentals of baseball. Children will get the opportunity to make new friends and learn how to catch, hit and throw. Participants receive a t-shirt and cap. T-ball will be played for an hour per week. There will be practice for the first 20 minutes to a half-hour and then a three to four inning game within the time slot. Help is needed with coaches, volunteers and league coordinator. The commitment is one hour per week for six weeks. Games will not be scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.
T-ball will be held Saturdays, April 30 through June 11 from 9-10 a.m. with a $35 fee at Dickinson Memorial Town Park, located at 50 Elm Dr.
