Individuals interested in volunteering must contact NYFS at (203) 270-4335 for further information or visit the organization's website to access a volunteer application. Volunteer opportunities are available from 9 a.m. to noon. Opportunities include a variety of tasks needed to prepare for spring (e.g. raking, mulching and window cleaning).NYFS is dedicated to providing services to all seniors within the Newtown community. However, Independent Living Day primarily focuses on Nunnawauk Meadows.
