Newton is Home to One of the Best Places to Work in America
The Newton business was included in a list compiled by WorkplaceDynamics of Exton, Pa.

A national survey recently ranked a Newton company among the top 150 places to work in the nation.
Newton businesses Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates joined 11 other Massachusetts companies on the list of best businesses to work compiled by WorkplaceDynamics of Exton, Pa., according to a report in the Boston Globe.
The factors considered in WorkplaceDynamics' rankings include the organization’s leadership, direction, and connection to its employees, Doug Claffey, chief executive of WorkplaceDynamics told the Globe.

Some of the keys to employee happiness, according to the report, include "making employees feel appreciated at work and connected to the company," Claffey said in the report.
Harvard Vanguard, which is located in the Riverside Center on Grove Street, ranked 103rd in the survey, which was compiled by 30 newspapers across the country, including the Boston Globe, according to the report.

The top ranked business to work for nationally is Quicken Loans Inc. of Detroit, and the highest ranked Massachusetts firm is Cambridge's Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Co. at number 12.
Other Bay State business to make the list include athenahealth (45th) and Tufts Health Plan (98th) of Watertown, Wellesley's Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (105th), Roche Bros. Supermarkets based in Wellesley (112th) and South Shore Hospital in Weymouth (118th).
