$1,500 Memorial Scholarship

The North Andover Garden Club Scholarship Committee is happy to announce applications are being accepted for this year's $1,500 Memorial Scholarship(s). Applications and details can be downloaded from the NAGC's website or through high school guidance offices. Deadline to submit is April 15, 2024. High school seniors who plan to pursue any type of post-secondary education for horticulture, botany, agriculture, landscape design, forestry, conservation, environmental studies (including marine, wildlife, and climate), or a closely related field, are encouraged to apply. All high school seniors who reside in North Andover are eligible.

The scholarships are intended to help further the NAGC’s mission to advance the science of horticulture, the conservation of natural resources, and the development of civic beautification. They are given in honor of long-time honorary member Richard J. Kulpinski (1938 – 2017) for his vast horticultural knowledge, his many contributions to the NAGC and town, his educational achievements, as well as his generosity, energy and remarkable talent for mentorship. The scholarships are primarily funded by proceeds from the NAGC’s annual Plant Sale and we appreciate the community’s generous support.
