2020 U.S. Census: The Changing Demographics Of North Andover

The 2020 census shows an America that is becoming more diverse, with the Hispanic population growing faster than any other.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The last 10 years have marked a dramatic shift in the demographic makeup of the United States, with a marked shrinkage of the white population and the rapid growth of the Hispanic community.

These changes were reflected in North Andover, where the white population fell by 0.15 percent while most other racial and ethnic groups grew.

North Andover reported particularly large growth in its Hispanic or Latino population, adding over 1,000 Hispanic or Latino residents. The Black non-Hispanic population grew nearly three-quarters to 746 residents in 2020.
