$4 Million Scratch-Off Ticket Winner Sold At North Andover Store

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A man won a $4 million grand prize on a scratch-off ticket sold at a North Andover store recently, according to Mass Lottery. William Darden of Boston, bought the winning ticket, according to WHAV.

He won playing the $4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler game.

Darden purchased the lucky ticket via the Jackpocket app Thursday and picked up the ticket at Winners Corner Market in North Andover.

The win represents largest scratch ticket prize ever won using Jackpocket, according to the company.

Darden chose to receive the annuity prize, meaning he will take home 20 annual payments of $200,000 before taxes.

He plans to use his prize to winnings to buy a dog and a car, as well as take a European trip, according to WHAV.

Winners Corner Market has lived up to its name recently. A winner of $100,000 was sold there earlier this month, and last month four huge winners were sold at the North Andover store.
