Acting Out! Theater Presents Company the Musical

Acting Out Theater Company celebrates over 20 years of community theater and starts out the season with a true gem. Company, the Tony® winning musical comedy by Stephen Sondheim, with book by George Furth, comes to the Acting Out stage this weekend with a stellar cast you will not want to miss!

On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor Robert contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse; the habitually single Robert is forced to question his adamant retention of bachelorhood. Stephen Sondheim's Company is largely regarded as a trailblazer of the dark-comedy, modern-musical genre, and features a brilliantly brisk and energetic score containing many of the composer's best-known songs.
