Andover and North Andover Join Forces for HS Winter Guard Program
Several North Andover and Andover High School students are competing together in NESBA Winter Guard

The North Andover Scarlet Knights and Andover Golden Warriors combined abilities this year in a brand new joint Winter Guard program, earning a first place award in their division at the New England Scholastic Band Association (NESBA) competition in Salem, NH on March 12th.
Members of the team include Lexi Lippman, Allegra Walker, Avery Barnett, Blanca Schaller, Jess Torname, Alekhya Paripally, Millie Chicooree, Jake White, Alicia Rodriguez, Sparrow Sicheri, Kingston Tort, and Beth Lane of North Andover, and Ellen Pechinsky, and Holly Smith of Andover.
Led by color guard instructors, Meghan Root, Mia Wong, and Sami Linscott, the team has met for weekly practice sessions. Upcoming performances include a regular season competition in Byfield, MA on March 26th, and NESBA Finals in Salem, NH on April 2nd.
