Another Rash of Car Breaks

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

It seems there was another string of car break-ins Wednesday night.

About a dozen residents awoke Thursday to find that their vehicles had been broken into and rummaged through (and in some cases, items were stolen) overnight, according to police reports.

There were four vehicles broken into on Chadwick Street. And also on Chadwick Street, there was a report of a car stolen overnight as well.

The other vehicle break-ins were on Barker Street; Moody Street (two vehicles); Hickory Hill Road (three vehicles); Surrey Drive; and French Farm Road.

Residents are urged to keep vehicle doors locked, keep valuables out of their vehicles and watch for suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.

Tuesday, May 14

At 10:38 a.m., there was a domestic dispute at Royal Crest. It was a verbal dispute.

At 4:50 p.m., a caller reported a youth riding an electric scooter at Aplin Playground honking a horn loudly for more than an hour. The boy said his friend was honking the horn.
