Bicycle Arrest and Stolen Car

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Thursday, Aug. 15
At 12:22 a.m., police stopped a man on a bicycle and discovered the man had warrants. Ishmael Gracia, 31, of 123 Main St., Lawrence, had warrants for assault and battery, defacing property and intimidation.
At 1:54 a.m., a caller on Sutton Street reported that two males broke into his vehicle and fled up Chadwick Street. Police did not find the suspects.
At 7:36 a.m., a caller at Royal Crest reported that his car was stolen. Police found the car in Lawrence.
At 10:54 a.m., Police went to Greene Street and charged James Cress, 34, of 310 Greene St Apt. 215, North Andover, on several warrants for charges including breaking and entering, larceny, possession of a class B substance ad shoplifting, among others.
