NORTH ANDOVER, MA— When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Cheryl Raimondo who nominated Kathleen Pease of North Andover. Cheryl and Kathleen work together at North Andover Middle School.

Relationship to nominee: Worked with Kathleen for the last three years at NAMS.

Reason for recognition: Kathleen provides TLC and nursing wisdom for our middle school students. She also goes above and beyond for our community. She worked with the town health department supporting families dealing with Covid. She also volunteered and ran the food pantry at the senior center.

One thing to know: Kathleen approaches EVERY situation with "what can I do to help?" She is a bright light during the tough days our community has been dealing with.
