Multiple Emergency Crews Fight Fire At Smolak Farms
Multiple emergency crews responded to a two-alarm fire at 2 a.m. Friday at the popular North Andover farm.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A large fire broke out at the popular Smolak Farms early Friday morning and resulted in the destruction of three buildings, according to North Andover Fire Department.
Fire crews were called from Methuen, Lawrence, Andover, Haverhill and Middleton to assist in containing the large blaze that started in the early morning hours. No injuries were reported.
In a statement on Facebook, Smolak Farms said, "We are grateful that the damage was contained to a small area of our property. Our Farm Stand, Ice Cream Stand and animal viewing area are open and fully operational, and we hope that you will come by and see us today and this weekend."

The North Andover Fire Department and State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
