Car Clipped Bicyclist With Mirror, Fled: North Andover Police
Police are searching for a sedan after a bicyclist was clipped and knocked over Wednesday.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A sedan's sideview mirror clipped a person riding a bicycle and the driver fled, according to police.
A young man was riding a bike Wednesday between 4 and 4:30 p.m. in the 1200 block Salem Street near Granville Lane when the vehicle clipped him and knocked him over into the woods.
The young man suffered cuts and bruises "but was otherwise fine in large part to wearing a helmet," police said.

The car that struck the bicyclist slowed down but did not stop, according to police.
Good Samaritans from other vehicles stopped after he was struck, including one woman who checked that the victim was okay.

The suspect vehicle is a gray sedan that appears to have been “lowered” with a loud exhaust, possibly tinted windows, and may now have a broken passenger side mirror, according to police.
