Town Moderator Mark DiSalvo has announced new picks for the Finance Committee, as well as some returning faces.
Susan Almono, Marta Solof and Timothy Tschirchart will join the 9-member committee, and Chair Alan LeBovidge and Daniel Leary have been reappointed.
"The Finance Committee may be the most demanding and significant job in town government. It is central to the best practice review, operation and fiscal integrity of our community," DiSalvo said. "It has been a huge effort to recruit, interview, assess and contemplate the make-up of our Finance Committee and I am excited for our community in this result."
DiSalvo has appointed seven of the nine members on the committee since being elected Town Moderator in March 2012.

Tschirhart fills the two years remaining in the term of retiring member Michelle Nadeau, who is moving out of North Andover.
"I thank Thom, Bob and Michelle for their significant contribution to our Town as they leave the FinCom,” DiSalvo said. "I am particularly pleased that Alan chooses to continue to bring his leadership to the committee and that Dan, rather than retiring after fulfilling the two years remaining in the unexpired term to which he was previously appointed, makes an additional one year commitment to our Town and brings his unique perspective to the FinCom."
The Finance Committee members will be sworn in next Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Town Hall.
