Eagle Tribune Dropping Two Print Days, As Coronavirus Hits Ads
New stories will continue to appear on the media groups websites, but there will be no Tuesday and Saturday print editions.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The Eagle-Tribune is dropping two print days due to the impact of the new coronavirus, the paper's publisher announced Thursday. Publisher Karen Andreas wrote in a message to readers that business closures have resulted in a sharp decline in advertising revenue.
The paper will no longer print on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Andreas said. Stories will continue to be published online.
Prior to this change, the Eagle-Tribune printed seven days a week.
