Edgewood Residents Create Dolls for Kids Around the World

This summer Edgewood Retirement Community residents in North Andover have been creating smiles for children by cutting, sewing and dressing wonderful toys called Cuddle Dolls that are then delivered to children in U.S.
hospitals and homeless shelters, and overseas.

This crafty labor of love, supported by the RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) has been a joy for Edgewood and has created happiness for children right here in Massachusetts at the Emmaus House in Haverhill as well as in India where a large shipment was sent.

The Edgewood Cuddle Doll club will continue to make their huggable creations into the Fall and beyond with the next shipment heading to a Police Department in Connecticut.
