Eleanor A. DiPaolo of North Andover and Salisbury, MA, passed away on September 10, 2022, at Anna Jaques Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Lawrence on September 9, 1945, the beloved daughter of the late Rose (LaSpina) DiPaolo and Salvatore DiPaolo. Ellie graduated from Our Lady of Nazareth Academy class of 1963 and Merrimack College class of ‘67.

Ellie touched so many lives throughout her initial career as a junior high mathematics teacher at Tewksbury Public schools. But her one true passion, and where she made the biggest impact on people’s lives, was through her twenty-five plus years as a real estate agent. She successfully listed and sold countless homes in the area - caring for every one of her clients with honesty and respect. She won top producer awards seven years in a row

Ellie loved going out to eat at popular local restaurants with friends and family. She spent her summers at the beach, enjoying all that the Salisbury Center had to offer – skee-ball, fireworks, concerts, the boardwalk, fried dough, and treats from Willy’s. She was a loyal member of the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Newburyport Association of Realtors, and the Salisbury Beach Betterment Association. She was passionate about the revitalization of Salisbury Beach and donated generously to that cause.

She was a Boston sports fanatic and attended many Boston Celtics games at the Garden, where she had season tickets for many years. Ellie was keenly interested in photography and captured so many treasured memories of her friends and family over the years. It recently brought her great joy, sorting through her impressive archive and gifting photos spanning five generations to all her loved ones.
