Fairy Garden Workshop for Kids Thursday

Today is Thursday, July 11. Here are five things you need to know.

• More Humidity: Temperatures are expected to be in the high-80s most of the day, with high humidity and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
• Meeting: The Finance Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. at Town Hall.
• Garden Workshop: Looking for something for the kids to do? Smolak Farms is having a Fairy Garden for Kids workshop at 1 p.m. Kids decorate their own pot with fairy sparkles and fairy wings, with miniature blossoms planted inside.
• Tour: If you missed last week's Parson Barnard House tour last week due to the heat, you can attend another one soon.
• Blogging: It seems there's a glitch in the new Patch 2.0 system that is rejecting blogs as spam. If this happens to you when you post, please contact Bryan.McGonigle@patch.com so we can fix it.
