Family Skate Night Saturday

NORTH ANDOVER, MA. - The Youth Center Ice Rink has been a popular spot in town for the last two winters. When the weather gets cold enough, the outside basketball court is flooded. The rink is open to the North Andover public when it’s not being used for Youth Center programming.

North Andover Youth and Recreation Services DO NOT allow ice hockey on our rink (except for middle school members during time specified below.) When the rink is in season, please feel free to skate until our outside lights turn off (Monday - Thursday, and Saturday at 8pm, Fridays at 7pm.)

Check out the rink-related programs offered for members, beginning in January.

Ice Rink Programs:

Pick-up Ice Hockey - Mondays, 3 to 4 p.m. - Open to: Middle School Members
This will be the only time we allow hockey on the ice, so our members should take advantage! Bring your own skates, helmet, and gear, and use the hour to play a pick-up game with friends! Get your practice in on Mondays and play in our 3 vs. 3 tourney in February! (More info on tourney below)

Rink Rats - Thursdays, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Open to: Middle School Members
Don’t miss Rink Rats on Thursdays – dress warm and join us on the rink for crazy games like Curling, Broomball, Taking Aim and more!) See pictures below from last year’s epic curling match!

Family Skate Night - Saturday, Jan. 23, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Open to: All Ages ($2/person)
Come join us for a family-friendly event! Bring your family to the Youth Center’s outdoor skate rink for a night of ice skating, music, and fun. Bring your own skates and helmet. $2/person admission.

3 vs. 3 Ice Hockey Tourney - Thurs, Feb. 18, 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. - Open to: Middle School Members
Come to the YC over February Vacation for one of the most talked about events of the winter: our 2nd annual 3 vs. 3 Ice Hockey Tournament on the YC outdoor rink! Members only. Sign up your team of 3 by Friday, February 12th! One form is needed for each team member. See pictures below of last year’s event!

8th Grade Winter Social - Saturday, Feb. 27, 5:30-7:30 - Open to: 8th Graders ($5/person)
