Four Warriors Invited to NHL Prospects Camp
This follows a string of national teams recruiting Merrimack athletes.

Four different members of the Merrimack men's hockey team have been invited to attend NHL Prospect Camps this week.
Highlighted by incoming freshman Chris Leblanc (Winthrop, Mass.), who was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the sixth in the NHL Draft on June 30 and is participating in the Senators' Prospect Camp, three other Warriors – forwards Mike Collins (Boston, Mass.) and Quinn Gould (Fort McMurray, Alberta), as well as goaltender Sam Marotta (Bridgewater, Mass.) – all are attending different NHL Prospect Camps.

Leblanc is in the midst of the Senators' Development Camp, as the 6-foot-3 right winger joined the organization quickly after his selection in the NHL Draft.
Collins, an NHL free agent, has been invited to the Minnesota Wild's Development Camp starting this week. The Second-Team All-American forward led the Warriors with 38 points (17 goals, 21 assists) in 38 games last season as a junior, and will enjoy a three-day camp stint in Minnesapolis from July 11-13.

Offered an invite to the Vancouver Canuck's Development Camp this week, Marotta and former teammate and All-American netminder Joe Cannata are enjoying each other's company once again in British Columbia. Marotta is coming off a 12-11-4 campaign while posting a 2.28 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage in his first full season as a starter.
Rounding out the quartet of Warriors in NHL camps, Gould was offered an invite to the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks' Prospect Camp, running from Monday through Friday this week. The rising junior is coming off a nine-point campaign (5 goals, 4 assists) in 27 games. He also joins former Merrimack head coach Ron Anderson (Director of Player Recruitment) and former Merrimack coach and goaltender Mike Doneghey (scout), who are both apart of the Blackhawks organization.
