The North Andover Garden Club and Stevens Memorial Library are pleased to co-host a gardening webinar with popular horticulturist Jen Kettell on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 at 10:30AM. The program is titled “Woody Vines for the Garden”. The link to register is Woody Vines for the Garden Sign Up and the deadline is 9:00AM the day of the program. The Zoom link and related PDF materials will be emailed to participants. A recording of the program will also be available for two weeks for anyone not able to participate in the live presentation. A link will be posted a few days following the program on the library’s website www.stevensmemlib.org.

Looking to dress up a boring stockade fence? Maybe soften a new stone wall? Add an elegant trellis to your garden? In this webinar, Jen Kettell explores the ornamental characteristics of climbing plants such as clematis, honeysuckle, wisteria and several lesser-known species - both native and non-native. Participants will learn how vines climb, the support structures needed for each type of vine, best planting practices, and maintenance.

Jen Kettell is a certified arborist and horticulturist serving the New England area. She is currently the owner of Radiant Leaf Consulting and has recently completed advanced professional training for experienced arborists. She shares her passion for horticulture through the training she provides to both homeowners and green industry professionals.
