Great Pond Road Closed To Through Traffic For Next Month
The road closure, beginning Monday, is for the "Great Pond Road Stabilization project."
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Great Pond Road will be closed to through traffic for the next four weeks to allow for stabilization work, the town said Monday.
The closure began Monday. There is a permanent closure between houses 1665 and 1675, the town said.
"The project involves the installation of approximately 300 linear feet of steel sheeting that will be driven 30 feet down along the shoreline of Lake Cochichewick to support the embankment and roadway along with some drainage work and some additional spot repairs where the shoreline has eroded," the town said. "Please plan your travel accordingly."
