'Has An Incredible Heart': North Andover Hero Erica DelloRusso

NORTH ANDOVER, MA— When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Hero's job: Volunteer. Collects donations of clothing, etc for families in need as well as toiletries. Also makes meals for the homeless to be picked up and delivered.

Relationship to nominee: Friend

Reason for recognition: Erica was once homeless and knows what “street life” is like and has turned her life around. Erica shows that a person CAN recover and help out as much as possible. I’m extremely honored to call her my friend!

One thing to know: Erica has an incredible heart and cares for others!
