Home town: North Andover
Hero's job: Pizza shop owner.
Relationship to nominee: Friend/business associate
Reason for recognition: The giving he gives to the community the time he volunteers on committees and the many free meals he has given to the needed.
Terry has led many boards in town, from booster club, CPA, town manager search committee. He does numerous fundraising for schools, sports, needy families and mercy meals. No kid went without proper equipment for sports or went hungry.
His title of unofficial Mayor of North Andover was given to him years back . He runs two pizza shops that employ many local kids and disabled people. His family is his life and he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren when he is not planting grass or trees to make the entrance to North Andover look better.
He hates being recognized for anything he does and just goes about all these things with little fanfare. I covered only a small list of what he does but he is definitely a North Andover local hero.
One thing to know: Just gives and gives never wants recognition or praise!
Thank you for all you do, Terry!
