Juvenile Charged After Chase

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Friday, July 12


At 12:14 p.m., a Goya vendor reported that his vehicle had been stolen at Market Basket. The man later found his vehicle.

At 11:33 p.m., a caller reported that she lost her cell phone at Market Basket.

At 10:31 p.m., police attempted to stop a vehicle near the intersection of Dewey Street and Marblehead Street, but the driver wouldn't stop. Four young males then fled on foot. Police apprehended the driver at Carl Thomas Field. The juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct, operating under license restrictions and failure to stop for police.

Saturday, July 13


At 12:28 p.m., Market Basket reported a shoplifter. Felix Santana, 25, of 7 7th Ave.  Third Floor, Haverhill, was charged with shoplifting.

At 5:10 p.m., a caller on Farrwood Drive reported that his motorcycle was stolen.
