Lawrence Fire Displaces 40 Residents, Damages 5 Buildings
The blaze was still smoldering Wednesday morning, the fire chief said.

LAWRENCE, MA — A Tuesday night fire displaced 40 residents and damaged five buildings, the fire chief said.
The blaze broke out about 6 p.m. and was still smoldering Wednesday morning, said Lawrence Fire Chief Patrick Delaney.
Four of the Lowell Street buildings were burned and one was damaged by exposure to the flames, Delaney said.
