Local Salon to Hold 'Cut-A-Thon' for Child Marathon Victim's Family
Martin Richard was killed in the bombing, and his sister and mother were critically injured.

J Michaels Salon & Spa will have a "cut-a-thon" on Monday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., to benefit the family of Martin Richard, the 8-year-old boy killed in the Boston Marathon bombing.
There will be reduced services offered:
All wash and cuts -- $20

Blow-dry -- $15
Brow waxing -- $10

Manicures -- $10
There will be food and beverages donated from several local businesses
as well as many raffle prizes including sporting event tickets, gift cards and more.
Appointments will be honored, but they are not required. Call 978-557-5557.
All proceeds on that day will be donated to the Martin Richard's family. Salem Five has established a fund for the Richard Family. Martin was killed by the blasts, and his sister and mother were seriously injured. The Salem Five Charitable Foundation is making an initial donation of $5000 to kick off the effort.
