Lots Of Laughs Comedy Lounge Back This Weekend In North Andover

North Andover, MA — A North Andover comedy club has relocated and will debut in its new space this weekend.

Johnny Pizzi's Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge was part of China Blossom Restaurant for 14 years. But a change of management led Pizzi, a magician, comedian and owner of the club, to seek pastures anew.

On Saturday, Lots of Laughs is back, this time at Joe Fish Seafood Restaurant and Bar, at 1120 Osgood St.

Opening night on Saturday will feature legendary Boston comedian Lenny Clarke along with Jody Sloane and Jason Merrill.

The trio also will perform on Sunday, and they will be joined by Pizzi and magician Philip Volonino, who also will be performing table magic after the show.

Both shows are sold out.

"We will be bringing some of the top national comedians to the new and improved Lots of Laughs," Pizzi said about his plans for the new space. "We couldn't be more excited. Opening weekend is already sold out and we believe this will be the first of a long run of sold-out comedy shows."

Pizzi, who specializes in close-up stage magic and mentalism, has been a fixture on the Boston and New England comedy scenes for over 30 years and has performed with comedy giants like Sam Kinison, Denis Leary, Bill Burr, Louis C.K. and Dane Cook.

Pizzi is a regular at Clarke's Giggle's Comedy Club in Saugus and at Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort, and he is a popular performer on the corporate circuit. Pizzi also participates in numerous charitable fundraisers and benefit concerts.

According to Pizzi, he also is the Unofficial Magician of the New England Patriots.
