HAVERHILL, MA — A Dunkin' franchisee with over 100 locations in New England is closing down a production facility. NGP Management, also known as Scrivanos Network, will lay off 74 workers, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice filed with the state.

The company plans to eliminate the jobs in early November.

A company official said the “entire facility” at 15 Parkridge Road, Ward Hill, Haverhill, will close, according to Boston Business Journal.

The location is a production and operations facility and not a retail Dunkin' location. It's unclear how the move will impact NGP Management's stores in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

The closing will affect 45 production workers, 21 drivers, logistic supervisors, sanitation workers, managers, and bakers. Dunkin' said in a statement that the closure is because of a new, larger, more modern facility that will open in Haverhill, according to Boston.com.

Another Dunkin' manufacturing facility is being built at 30 Creek Brook Drive. The plant is scheduled for completion by the end of the year and will serve all stores in the Merrimack Valley, The Haverhill Gazette reported.

The property will be leased to Cafua Management Company LLC. The company is the largest Dunkin' franchisee in the country and has more than 200 stores in six states.

Employees at the closing location will be able to apply for roles at the new facility, Boston.com reported.
