N. A. School Committee Schedules 4 Meetings For Reopening Vote
The district is expected to provide a final decision to the state by Friday.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover School Committee has scheduled three additional meetings for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night, in addition to the Monday meeting, as it grapples with how to reopen the district's schools in the fall.
The district leadership has recommended a hybrid model where students spend two days per week in school and three days learning remotely. Students would be split into cohorts learning in-person either Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday.
School committee members said at the committee's most recent meeting, Tuesday, that they were not prepared to vote, given insufficient information.
