Diane Nocco started cutting hair when she was 16 years old. Her grandfather and father were barber -- the family owns Bob's in Tewksbury -- and she and her sister both decided to follow in the family trade.
And now, Nocco is bringing her skills to North Andover. John Moffat recently sold his business, North Andover Barber Shop in the Chickering Plaza, to Nocco.
But to Johns many loyal clients: don't worry. He still has a chair at the shop and will be there every Friday and Saturday. He'll also be managing an apple orchard in Littleton, and selling the barber shop allows him to spend more time with his wife and baby.

Nocco jumped at the opportunity to buy the shop.
"Well I saw a good opportunity here, with the barber shop for sale, and it's been in our family for years, barbering, so I saw it as a good opportunity to venture out," Nocco said.
