How Much Snow Did North Andover Get In The February Nor'easter?

The forecast was mostly right in North Andover, with well over a foot of snow being reported.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover received well over a foot of snow in the winter storm that swept the state Monday and Tuesday, proving the forecasts right.

The town received 18 inches of snow as of 2:35 a.m., according to the National Weather Service's snowfall spotter report.

That's one of the biggest snowfall totals in the area, though Lowell and Wilmington beat it with over 20 inches. One spotter reported two feet of snow in Lowell.

Local restrictions

Here's what we know about how local officials are handling the storm. Check North Andover News for the most up-to-date information.

Parking ban

There will be an on-street parking ban from 7 p.m. Monday to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Trash collection

There is a one-day trash and recycling collection delay, with no pickup Tuesday.

School

North Andover Public Schools will be fully remote Tuesday, with Cohort B learning live and Cohort A asynchronous.
