North Andover Collecting Mitten Tree Donations

Want to help others this holiday season? Visit Town Hall and trade a new hat, scarf or pair of mittens for a candy cane on the tree.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Looking to help others this holiday season? The town of North Andover is collecting gifts for the Mitten Tree at Town Hall.

To make a donation, bring a new hat, scarf or pair of mittens or gloves to Town Hall, 120 Main Street. Trade the winterwear for a candy cane from the Mitten Tree in the lobby.

The town will donate the items to North Andover Public Schools and North Andover Youth and Recreation Services for local children in need.

Town Hall is open for drop-offs the following times:

  • Monday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to noon.

Masks are required in town buildings.

Mitten tree donations will also be accepted at the police department's Cram-A-Cruiser events on Dec. 4, 11 and 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at the North Andover Market Basket.
