NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover Fire Department currently is hosting its annual Holiday Toy Drive for children of all ages.
The drive began Saturday and will last until Dec. 18. People are asked to drop off new, unwrapped — not in wrapping paper — toys at NAFD Station 1, located at 795 Chickering Rd.
NAFD Lt. Matt Davis started the Toy Drive in 2006, and he continues to run the event.

"I started this to ensure that every child has a tremendous and proper Christmas morning," Davis told Patch. "We are looking for new and unwrapped toys for kids of all ages. We could always use gift cards geared toward the older kids, as well."
Any questions about the Holiday Toy Drive can be directed to Lt. Davis at madavis@northandover.gov.
