NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover High School junior Hannah Wieczorek announced earlier in the school year that she has verbally committed to swim at University of Richmond.

Wieczorek will be part of the Spiders 2024 recruiting class.

"I chose the University of Richmond because it felt like a perfect fit from the start," Wieczorek told Patch. "Not only is the campus absolutely beautiful, but it's also a place with a true balance between academics and athletics. That was very important to me when I was looking at schools. The coaches and girls are amazing and I can’t wait to be a part of that team environment."

Wieczorek has continued to make her mark on the club level for Andover-based Crimson Aquatics.
