North Andover Man Wins $1M In Lottery
Christian Kalil purchased the ticket at a Peabody gas station on his way to a hockey game. He'll get $50,000 per year for 20 years.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A North Andover man recently won the $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery's $1,000,000 Winning 7 instant ticket game, the Massachusetts Lottery has announced.
Christian Kalil was presented with an honorary check by the Lottery last week. Kalil has chosen the annuity option on his prize and has received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000, before taxes.
The winning ticket was purchased at Newbury Street Sunoco in Peabody, 144 Newbury St. That business will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

Kalil said he purchased the ticket after stopping for gas on his way to a men's league hockey game.
At the gas station, Kalil also picked up a bottle of water and the lottery ticket. Kalil told the Lottery that he chose the ticket in dispenser No. 5 because his son was born in May.
