North Andover Public Schools Closed Tuesday Due To Predicted Snow
Superintendent Dr. Gregg T. Gilligan said he closed schools due to the forecast of snow and the timing of the storm.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Gregg T. Gilligan announced Monday that the district's schools will be closed Tuesday due to the predicted snow.
In a Tweet, Gilligan wrote: "SNOW DAY - NO SCHOOL, ALL SCHOOLS 2/28. Schools will be closed tomorrow ( Tuesday, 2/28/23) because of the forecasted snow and timing of the storm. Please stay safe and warm."

A winter weather advisory is in effect in eastern Massachusetts until 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. The region could see up to 6 inches of snow.

According to the NWS, there could be a total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. During the day on Tuesday, there is a chance of 2 to 4 inches of additional snow.
