The town's contractor is beginning milling on Essex Street starting at the Boxford Town Line and then continuing on Great Pond Road from Essex Street to Marbleridge Road and then moving to Chestnut Street from Blueberry Hill Lane to Wood Lea. Milling is expected to take three to four days followed by one week for casting adjustments and then paving. The contractor has been asked to keep at least one lane of traffic open during construction, but both directions may be closed for short periods of time.
