North Andover Teen Arraigned for Assaulting His Baby Daughter
Teen was released on personal recognizance, and ordered him to stay away and have no contact with his daughter, who is now three months old.

A North Andover teenager was arraigned on Thursday in Salem Superior Court for two counts of assault and battery on a child with substantial injury, in connection with injuries to his infant daughter.
Jaime Fitzgerald, 18, 47 East Water Street, North Andover, was released on personal recognizance, and ordered him to stay away and have no contact with his daughter, who is now three months old. A plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf, according to authorities.
Lawrence Police responded to Boston Children’s Hospital on Aug, 26, for a possible child abuse incident. A one-month old infant was suffering from numerous blunt force injuries. The defendant and the baby’s mother had initially brought her to Lawrence General Hospital, and were told that it would be a four hour to five-hour wait at the hospital, so they drove to Boston Children’s Hospital.
