North Andover's Johnny Pizzi's LOL Comedy Lounge Has April Shows

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Johnny Pizzi's Lots of Laughs (LOL) Comedy Lounge at Joe Fish in North Andover has announced that tickets remain available for its April 15 show.

The 7 p.m. show will feature headliner Danno Smith, a set from Pizzi, the club's owner, and magician Phil Volonino. Tickets are $30 and available online.

Joe Fish Seafood Restaurant and Bar is located at 1120 Osgood St. and the restaurant's menu will be available before and during the show.

Smith was once the winner of the Funniest Comic in Boston contest sponsored by HBO and he has toured with comedians like George Lopez, the late Bob Saget, Bull Burr and Rob Schneider.

Additionally, Smith has completed several military comedy tours, performing for US and NATO troops in over 35 countries including: Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

A regular in movies and on television, Smith has appeared on television shows like "Talk Soup," "Loco Comedy Jam" and "Star Search," and he has written and produced shows including "Blind Date," "The 5th Wheel" and "Ex-Treme Dating."

Pizzi specializes in close-up stage magic and mentalism, has been a fixture on the Boston and New England comedy scenes for over 30 years, and has performed with comedy giants like Sam Kinison, Denis Leary, Burr, Louis C.K. and Dane Cook.

In addition to performing at his own club, Pizzi is a regular at Giggles Comedy Club in Saugus, Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort. He's also a popular performer on the corporate circuit and regularly participates in charitable fundraisers and benefit concerts

Plus, Pizzi's press materials have referred to him as the Unofficial Magician of the New England Patriots.

Volonino is a magician who does table-to-table magic and stage magic.

On April 22, the show at Johnny Pizzi's will feature Greg Howell and Stephanie Peters.
