Police Arrest Man for October North Andover Shooting

37-year-old Luis Natal was arrested in New York City.

New York police have arrested a man connected to a shooting in North Andover back in October.

37-year-old Luis Natal is accused of shooting a 31-year-old woman in North Andover on October 10.

NYPD Officers and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Natal on a warrant obtained by North Andover Police Detective Sean Daley, according to a statement.

Police say Natal fired two gunshots from a moving vehicle into the vehicle the victim was a passenger in on Route 495. The woman sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds to her right and left legs.

Natal is charged with Attempted Murder, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Firearm), Domestic Assault and Battery, and several other firearm related charges in the warrant.

He is currently in custody in New York pending an extradition hearing or waiver.
