Rainy Friday as Knights Prep for Lawrence

Here are five things you need to know on Friday, Oct. 11.

• Rain: Temperatures are expected to be in the low 60s most of the day, with rain throughout the day as well. But the good news is that Saturday and Sunday are expected to be bright and sunny.
• Sports: The North Andover Boys Varsity Football team will play against Lawrence International at 7 p.m. in North Andover
• Seniors: There will be Strength Training class at 12:45 p.m. at the North Andover Senior Center. Also at the Senior Center will be a linbe dancing class at 2 p.m.
• Fundraisers for Kids: There will be a Tommy Strong Fundraiser to benefit Tommy Cox -- a local boy who lost his leg in a boating accident -- Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at Jaime's. Enjoy some delicious food and buy some t-shirts and wristbands. And friends and family of Gabby Morgan, a little girl battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia, will host a fundraiser with raffles and more Saturday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the North Andover VFW Post 2104.
• Help Out: Anton's Cleaners is collecting Coats for Kids later this month.
