Stevens Library Hosting Food Network Personality, Showing Movie
This weekend, Dayna Altman from "Bake it 'Til You Make it" will talk cooking and life, and the library will screen the film "Rumble."

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Check out these upcoming events hosted by the Stevens Memorial Library.
At 1 p.m. Saturday at North Andover CAM, located at 70 Main St., the library will host Dayna Altman from the Food Network's "Bake it 'Til You Make it." Altman will teach attendees how to back a delicious recipe as she talks about how baking helped in her mental health journey.
The event is for Grades 6-12 and is in honor of North Andover Reads theme "Gastronomical: Food with Family & Friends." Registration is available online.

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, the library will show the family movie "Rumble!"

At 7 p.m. Monday, on Zoom, Historic New England curator Nancy Carlisle will discuss how the American kitchen has evolved from the 17th Century to the present. Carlisle will discuss the technological changes that have taken place in the kitchen and how these innovations have transformed kitchen work and changed the lives of women.
Carlisle is the co-author of the book "America's Kitchens," which she wrote with Melinda Nasardinov and Jennifer Pustz.
