Stevens Memorial Library Hosting 9/11 Memorial Stone Garden

Residents are encouraged to decorate rocks and place them in the rock garden outside North Andover's public library.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover's Stevens Memorial Library is hosting a 9/11 Tribute Stone Garden.

The stone garden is a Project 351 initiative. Project 351 is a nonprofit geared at having representatives perform service projects in each of the 351 Massachusetts cities and towns.

"In an effort to honor the lives lost during the September 11th attacks we are gathering patriotic stones to create a garden outside of the Stevens Memorial Library," North Andover's 2021 Project 351 Ambassador Brooke O'Desky wrote. "We are asking you to paint/decorate a rock with patriotic colors and respectful messages. Then place it in the rock garden outside of the Stevens Memorial Library."
