The Division of Public Works Water Treatment Plant is accepting applications for an Internship for the summer. 

Laboratory Assistant

Under the direction of the Laboratory Director this position will collect distribution, brook and bacterial samples, run basic tests, learn sterilization procedures and recordkeeping procedures and assist with lab cleanliness.

Qualifications:   

Environmental coursework and/or prior lab experience in a water/wastewater environment.  Familiarity with limnology a plus.

Compensation:  $12.00 per hour, 15 – 24 hours a week, not eligible for benefits.
