Want to Contribute to a Vibrant and Dynamic Neighborhood Downtown?

Machine Shop Village has been identified as a historical resource, and as such has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The North Andover Board of Selectmen is looking for volunteers to serve on the Neighborhood Conservation District Committee for the Machine Shop Village.

The Machine Shop Village committee meets up to 12 times a year, on the fourth Thursday of the month, to review external alterations to structures in the village.

Applicants should have an interest in North Andover history, and stewarding a historic neighborhood through change, and an ability to commit to at least eight of 12 potential meetings on an annual basis.

Skills and experience in history, architecture, construction and real estate a plus but not required.
