The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Tuesday, Sept. 10


At 5:42 p.m., a caller reported that a teenage boy was outside her home poking a wasp's nest with a stick.

Tuesday, Sept. 11


At 10:24 a.m., an employee at Prescott House reported that jewelry was missing from two residences.

At 11:20 a.m., a caller on Philips Court reported her ex-husband smashed out the windows of her home. Juan Gonzales, 31, of North Andover, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

At 5:17 p.m., a caller at Royal Crest reported that her TV was stolen from her apartment.

At 6:51 p.m., a caller reported seeing a loose dog hit by a car near Johnson Street, and the driver of the car did not stop. The dog ran toward Johnson Street wearing a red harness.

Saturday, Sept. 14


At 11:41 a.m., a caller on Peters Street reported that her son's vehicle was broken into, and his iPod and some cash were stolen.

At 4:24 p.m., an employee at McAloon's reported that someone had used a fake ID.
