Weekend Heat, Wiffleball and Classic Cars

Here are five things you need to know on Friday, Aug. 9.

• Weekend Heat and Rain: Temperatures are expected to be in the 80s most of Friday, in the 90s on Saturday and back to the 80s on Sunday. Thunderstorms are expected on Saturday.
• Tourney For Tim: The 9th annual Tourney for Tim will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, at North Andover Middle School. This year there will be a Family Division consisting of at least one adult with children under age 12. The Pro Division is for those that like a competitive game. And the Amateur Division is for those that prefer to play more for fun. Teams are made up of 3-5 players.  Any age can play.  All participants receive a TFT game shirt. Cost is $75 per team, $100 same day registrations.
  
• For Seniors: The Merrimack Valley Nutrition Program has teamed up with Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and isdistributing farmers market coupons to seniors in the Merrimack Valley.
• Antique and Classic Car Show: Smolak Farms will host anantique and classic car show Sunday starting at 9 a.m.
