Wood Ridge Garners National Acclaim

The National Affordable Housing Management Association has designated Wood Ridge Homes a "Community of Quality."

Sitting on 23 acres of land near Wavely Road and managed by Barkan Management Company Inc., Wood Ridge Homes is North Andover’s largest affordable housing complex.

"I have had the pleasure of managing Wood Ridge Homes for almost ten years now and I have always known what a special property it was," Property Manager Tracy Watson said. "But I must admit that it is nice to get national recognition confirming this thought!"

Now in its 20th year, Communities of Quality is a national recognition program that evaluates and acknowledges the best multi-family affordable housing communities across the country based on the management of the physical, financial and social condition of the properties as well as the quality of staff and quality of life for residents.

NAHMA advocates on behalf of the affordable housing multi-family industry and its property managers and owners.

"I am very proud to have a played a role in this but truly it has been a team effort between staff, residents and our Board of Directors," Watson said. "This is a well-deserved honor for all associated with Wood Ridge Homes."
